Liberia’s second traditional football team Mighty Barrolle has just 90 minutes to save itself from relegation from the LFA 2nd Division as the last round of league matches unfolds next Wednesday.
Barrolle is sweating profusely in the relegation zone. The Club has collected 23 points in 29 league matches not enough to be in the safe zone.
The Rollers will face long time rivals Invincible Eleven IE on Wednesday at the Doris William Stadium in Buchanan to climax the 2025/2026 league season. Barrolle MUST win that match at all cost to have any chance of surviving the relegation. Winning IE may not guarantee the Rollers safety as they need miracles in their favor in other results.
IE who is safe in the second division already can kick Barrolle out of the 2nd division to the 3rd division by denying them a win.
Will IE squeeze the life out of their bitter rivals by either winning them or drawing the match?
Barrolle may have a second chance however if the LFA 30th Congress votes to amend the laws governing the LFA today. The law when amended will see the LFA 2nd division increase from 16 to 18.
If this doesn’t work, Barrolle will face relegation to the 3rd division or could be dissolved.
