Watanga FC have won the LFA 2025/2026 1st division league title.

Watanga FC Monday defeated Gardnerville FC 3-1 to crown themselves as Champions of the LFA 1st division.

Margibi County youth winger Choice Howard gave Watanga the lead in the first half, before mask man Darius Garmondeh made it 2-0 in the early minutes of the second half.

Varney B. Varney wrapped up the match with a late second half goal to give Coach Theophilius Geekor a first major trophy in his debut season with Watanga FC.

Despite FC Bea Mountain’s own 4-0 win over Borough FC in a disrupted game at the Doris Williams Stadium in Buchanan, Watanga are on 55 points, a position either Bea Mountain nor other clubs can reach.
