Pres. Boakai Makes New Appointments in Gov.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Mansion has announced the appointment of Karyou Johnson as Superintendent of Grand Bassa County.

Mr. Johnson’s appointment by President Boakai followed the passing of Superintendent Julia Bono late last year.

President Boakai appointed Bendu Williams as Commissioner of Royesville Township and Joe Miller as Careysburg District Superintendent, respectively.

The Liberian Leader also appointed MacDella Cooper, Dr. Adam Kyne, Amara Kamara, and Ismael Barry as members of the Monrovia City Council, among others

Meanwhile, President Boakai is calling on all appointed officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, and loyalty in service to the country.

President Joseph Boakai made the appointment on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
