Pres. Boakai Nominates Amara Soko Sackor as Amb-Designate to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has nominated Amara Soko Sackor as Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Sackor’s nomination, which is pending confirmation by the Liberian Senate, underlines the President’s commitment to ensuring effective representation of Liberia’s interests abroad.

An Executive Mansion release says the nominee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience and expertise in ensuring Liberia’s continuous engagement and strengthening bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The release quotes President Boakai as reaffirming the government’s commitment to enhancing Liberia’s global partnerships and promoting the nation’s strategic interests on the international stage.

The Liberian Leader is, however, urging appointed officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to the country.

At the same time, President Joseph Boakai has relieved Nesco Aleo-Wolo of his duties as Assistant Director for Operations, at the National Security Agency (NSA).

The decision, which takes immediate effect, is based on administrative reasons.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the action is also part of ongoing efforts to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of Liberia’s national security apparatus.

President Boakai, in the release, assured Liberians of the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accountability across all sectors of government, particularly within the nation’s security institutions.

Meanwhile, the President has extended his appreciation to Mr. Wolo for services rendered to the Country and wished him well in his future endeavors.
