Executive Protection Service Heightens Safety Measures…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Protection Service (EPS) says it has heightened safety measures surrounding the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Convoys.

The action, according to a release issued recently, is due to the increasing intrusions and violations by unauthorized motorists, emergency vehicles, and pedestrians failing to yield the right-of-way to the Presidential Motorcade.

The EPS believes that the repeated violations by unauthorized motorists emergency vehicles and pedestrians are punishable consistent with Section 10.45 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

According to the release, the instituted measures are intended to safeguard the nation’s leadership and maintain public order.

The EPS is, however, urging all citizens, motorists, and emergency responders to prioritize safety and compliance with traffic regulations, ensuring free and safe movement of the Presidential Convoy.
