Pres. Boakai Charges Newly Commissioned Gov. Officials

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has charged newly commissioned officials of government to lead with utmost integrity and dedication.

President Boakai said:” Liberia, as a nation, can not thrive if public officials fail to adhere to the ethical standards of society. Hard work and dedication are hallmarks of building a stronger and better nation for all.”

President Boakai spoke on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, when he commissioned additional officials of the government in Congo Town.

The Liberian Leader, however, reminded the commissioned officials to work in alignment with the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.

Among those commissioned are the Minister of Commerce, Magdalene Dagoseh, Ambassador Extraordinary to France, Dr. Teeko Yorlay, and the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Daniel Kokoi.

Making remarks on behalf of her colleagues, Commerce Minister, Magdalene Dagoseh pledged to work in the interest of all Liberians.

Minister Dagoseh described their appointment and subsequent commissioning as a demonstration of the government’s dedication to lead with inclusion.

Minister Dagoseh lauded President Joseph Boakai for the confidence reposed in them and vowed to join forces with other entities of government in meeting the needs of the Liberian people.
