Pres. Boakai Admonishes Liberians…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is admonishing Liberians to get involved with the development process of the country.

President Boakai said:” Liberians’ contribution to nation-building is essential to foster a climate of change.

The Liberian Leader made the statement at the State Funeral in honor of the late former Vice President John Gray at the Effort Baptist Church in Paynesville City.

President Boakai encouraged the citizens to emulate the good example of the fallen Statesman, whose contributions to the social and political improvements of the country will be remembered.

The Liberian Leader described Mr. Gray as a dedicated and committed public servant, a devoted Christian, and a father to many people.

The late Vice President, who served as Senator of Grand Cape Mount County, died on November 28, 2024, following a brief illness.

At the same time, several individuals and institutions have paid tribute to the fallen Statesman, including the Liberian Senate, the Ministry of Justice, and the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority, among others.

In separate remarks, they expressed their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed that God Almighty would console and strengthen them during this difficult time of grief.
