Pres. Boakai Terms Phase-One of Digital Skills Training Promise Fulfilled

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has termed the first phase of the digital skills training for ten thousand Liberian youths as a promise made and kept.

President Boakai noted that the successful implementation demonstrates the vision and commitment of the Liberian Government to empower the youthful population.

According to the Liberian Leader, the milestone achievement is a testament to the government’s and project managers’ determination and dedication.

The President’s remarks were contained in a speech delivered on his behalf by the Minister of State without Portfolio and Special Services, Samuel Stevequoah, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Congo Town.

Minister Stevequoah lauded the effort of the Steering Committee, through the Liberian Telecommunication Authority (LTA), Ministries of Youth and Sports, and Education, to implement such a project.

Following the completion of their studies, more than ten thousand youths under the Liberia Digital Transformation Project across the country were awarded certificates.
