Ministries, Agencies, Commissions of Gov. of Liberia to Sign Performance Management and Compliance System

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Ministries, and heads of agencies and commissions of the Government of Liberia are expected to sign the official contract for the new Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS).

President Joseph Boakai and an array of Liberia’s development partners are expected to attend the signing ceremony this Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Monrovia.

According to a release, the PMCS is a transformative initiative designed to enhance governance by setting clear performance targets, monitoring progress, and holding public institutions accountable for results.

The PMCS, which reemphasizes President Boakai’s commitment to driving national growth, underscores the Government’s dedication to enhancing transparency, accountability, and performance across all public institutions.

The release quotes the Director General of the Cabinet, Nathaniel Kwabo, urging all civil society organizations to form part of the landmark event.

Meanwhile, ministers and all heads of agencies and commissions will also sign the Code of Conduct as required by law on the sidelines of the PMCS Contract.
