Ministry of State Dismisses Three Officials…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs has dismissed three officials following an investigation conducted by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) into alleged payroll paddling under the Supplementary Payroll scheme.

The dismissed officials are Lamine Sharpe, Director of Budget and Finance, Atty. Harry Sando, Financial Comptroller and Mohammed Kromah, Assistant Minister for Human Resource.

Their dismissal is as a result of a thorough review of the LACC’s findings into the matter, which includes interviews, the collection of statements, and analysis of financial records.

An Executive Mansion release described the actions by the Ministry of State as a reflection of the entity’s commitment to transparency, ethical governance, and protecting public resources.

Meanwhile, the Ministry has cleared and reinstated James Tolker as Deputy Financial Comptroller following the investigation.
