President Joseph Boakai has described the death of Grand Bassa County Superintendent as a great loss to the nation.

President Boakai said:” The late Julia Bono was a dedicated public servant whose contributions to the progress of the county and country will be forever be remembered.”

The Liberian Leader made the statement when he identified with the family of the fallen Stateswoman in Buchanan, over the weekend.

The President, on behalf of the Liberian Government, conveyed deepest condolences to the people of Grand Bassa County for the loss of their leader.

Madam Bono died on Monday, November 4,2024, in the county following a brief period of illness.

President Joseph Boakai earlier paid a visit to the residence of the late Assistant Internal Affairs Minister for Administration, Brown Sarlee.
