Prez. Weah fires back at opposition, says he will defeat them comes 2023 Presidential Elections

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah has described as overwhelming the love shown on the occasion marking his 55th birthday anniversary on Friday, October 1, 2021.

However, President Weah said he is not surprised because the Liberian people have always shown love and appreciate his sacrifices made over the years.

At the same time, President Weah says he is confident of winning all fifteen counties in the upcoming 2023 Presidential elections.

President Weah said the Liberian people will re-elect him for the level of achievements and deliverables of the CDC-led Government.

The Liberian Leader was speaking in reaction to claims from some opposition figures that he will be a one term President by the close of 2023.

President Weah said such statement is no different from the one made in 2017 when opposition thought he was never going to be elected President of Liberia.

The Liberian Chief Executive stated that any individual who emerges out of the collaboration in the opposition will be massively beaten at the polls.

The Liberian Leader was speaking to ELBC Friday at his Rehab residence in Paynesville as part of his birthday celebrations.

President Weah used the occasion to re-iterate the need for peaceful coexistence among Liberians in furtherance of national development.

The Liberian Chief Executive recounted that even through difficult and good times of his footballing career, he was always also positive about the Country.
