Officials of CBL, LACC, summoned over US900, 000 to be restituted by former Police Director

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Criminal Court ‘C’ has summoned officials of two government entities for a legal conference on Friday this week.

The two institutions are the Central Bank of Liberia, and the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission. The summon is in connection with the restitution of public funds due government by former Police Director, Beatrice Munah Sieh and others.

The conference will also be centered on restitution made by convicts at the Central Bank of Liberia where a special account was opened for that purpose.

Former Police Director, Betrice Munah Sieh and others were convicted of stealing over US900,000. intended for the purchase of police uniforms.
