MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A 19 year-old man identified as, Chris Karpeh has been sent to jail pending court trial for allegedly killing his friend.

Suspect Karpeh is said to have murdered his friend Shadrach Weah with an Axe in the Point Four Community on the Bushrod Island.

Suspect Chris Karpeh reportedly committed the act in early August after an argument between both men resulted into a fight.

Police record shows that after the fight, the victim Shadrach sat alone with his head bowed, when suspect Karpeh struck him with an axe his head.

The Police charge sheet said Suspect Chris Karpeh immediately fled the scene and changed his sim card, making it difficult for investigators to trace his call logs.

He was however arrested in Grand Gedeh County recently and brought to Monrovia for prosecution.
