MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) has announced the arrest of the Head of a notorious gang group in Paynesville City.

According to Deputy Police Director for Operations, Col. Marvin Sackor, Varney Kiazulu, alias Azonto, was arrested along with two of his close associates during the early morning hours of Thursday, January 7, 2021.

The gang group Kuba, has been involved in constant attacks on the homes of peaceful citizens in search of valuables.

Col. Sackor insisted that anyone associated with the notorious Kuba Gang group will be arrested and prosecuted.

He disclosed that Varney Kiazulu and his associates will be processed in forty-eight hours and forwarded to court for prosecution.
