LBS honors employees and pays tributes to partners for dedicated services

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Director-General of the Liberia Broadcasting System has vowed to make the National Broadcaster, truly a public service institution in 2021.

Mrs. Estelle Liberty- Kermoh said LBS will adopt creative new measures to extend its coverage across the Country.

Mrs. Liberty- Kermoh disclosed that the entity will also adopt quality programs to impact society.

She praised the collective efforts of employees for exhibiting professionalism, especially during the just ended Special Senatorial and Representative By-Elections including the Referendum.

According to her, professionalism continues to elevate and stimulate the entity’s status for public recognition.

The LBS Director-General made the comments Tuesday, December 15, 2020, during an annual awards celebration for employees, partners, and former Directors-General for the upkeep of the station over the years.

At the LBS annual awards night, the LBS Management named and honored Radio Presenter, Musu Sirleaf as Employee of the Year 2020.

Others honored are Wholquoi Yeagar as Employee of the News Department, Cisco Toe, Employee of the Radio Department, and Prince Kordewallah, Employee of the Television Department.

While Rev. Madison Zoward was named, Employee of the Rural Broadcasting Department, and Elvis Gono, correspondent of the year.

Others include Eddie Garnett, Longest-Serving Employee, Christiana Flomo, Employee of the Technical Department, Karsim Seysay, Employee of the Sales Department, among others.

The LBS Management also paid special tribute to some of its key partners, including SEGAL, the National Fisheries, and Aquaculture Authorities, and Petro Trade, for their continued support to the State Broadcaster.
