Press Union of Liberia welcomes Jonathan Williams’ Life Sentence

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Press Union of Liberia has welcomed the life sentencing of Jonathan Williams for murdering Super FM broadcaster, Journalist Tyron Brown.

Journalist Brown was on April 16, 2018 murdered by Jonathan Williams and his body dumped in the Duport Road Community.

A release quotes the President of the Press Union of Liberia, Charles Coffey, as praising Liberia’s Justice System for the fair and impartial trial in Journalist Tyron Brown case.

Mr. Coffey believes the maximum sentence of convict Williams will serve as a deterrent to other would-be willful murderers.

The Press Union of Liberia has been leading a campaign seeking justice for the late Journalist, Tyron Brown, following his Murder nearly two years ago.
