GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Education Minister Dr. Jarso Jallah has reaffirmed the government of Liberia’s commitment to providing quality education through improved infrastructure, qualified teachers, and conducive learning environments nationwide.
Dr. Jallah said,” Modern school buildings alone cannot guarantee quality education without trained teachers, adequate learning materials, and supportive spaces promoting student development”.
According to her, the Ministry of Education remains committed to strengthening public schools by ensuring students receive opportunities that prepare them for future success.
The Ministry of Education boss said the government will continue working with lawmakers, county authorities, and development partners to improve educational facilities across Liberia.
She made the comments Friday, July 24, 2026, on behalf of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai during the dedication of a Public High School in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
The newly completed campus was constructed by World Basic Group of Companies within eight months to ease overcrowding at Bassa High School before the upcoming academic year.
