MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Port Authority (NPA) has launched its newsletter, signaling a new era of institutional transparency and public communication.
The Publication, known as “NPA Today”, is designed to tell the story of the NPA and its various ports to Liberians and the wider public.
The NPA’s Managing Director, Sekou Dukuly, said:” The administration wants to move beyond perception and showcase the NPA’s real contributions to national development”.
Dukuly noted that a magazine and brochure are also in the pipeline, reinforcing the Authority’s growing commitment to public information.
Managing Director Dukuly said,” The printed publications will represent the institution wherever NPA’s leadership travels across Liberia and beyond”.
In Another Development, the Freeport of Monrovia has recorded a historic milestone as the largest vessel ever has berthed successfully.
The CMA CGM Spring Shape, measuring over 234 meters, discharged more than 3,000 containers within two days.
NPA Managing Director Sekou Dukuly credited a Liberian marine pilot for successfully navigating and docking the massive vessel at the Freeport.
He said the achievement reflects a thirty percent improvement in operational efficiency at the National Port Authority.
Director Dukuly said the historic docking signals the strategic repositioning of the Freeport and Liberia’s growing trade capacity.
