MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has launched and inaugurated the Performance Management Information System (PMIS) in Congo Town.
Through the PMIS, the progress of government institutions and legislators is expected to be tracked on a national digitized platform with transparency and accountability.
President Boakai described the platform on Monday, April 21, 2026, as one of its kind that will improve governance and citizens’ access to reliable information about the government.
According to the President, the launch demonstrates Liberia’s commitment to accountable governance, particularly from a government that plans to be a government that performs.
The President committed the government to creating an enabling environment where institutions can thrive and perform in the interest of the ordinary citizens.
He, however, reechoed his administration’s readiness to invest hugely in bridging capacity gaps and constraints being experienced at various ministries and agencies.
At the same time, the 2025 Performance Management Contracts (PMC) has recognized about thirty-two institutions of the Liberian Government for excellence in implementing the PMC.
