Nat’l Transit Authority to Expand Transport Services…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Transit Authority (NTA) Managing Director Edmund Forh says the Authority will expand its transport services to additional counties after completing one year of operations on the southeastern route.

‎MD Forh made the statement during the NTA’s anniversary celebration in Monrovia, where he thanked passengers for their confidence in the Authority.

‎He said the NTA will continue improving service delivery through public feedback and accountability.

‎‎The NTA launched the southeastern route on July 25, 2025, serving Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland, and neighboring counties.

‎‎The Authority recorded 169 trips during the first year, transporting 12,461 passengers, while 983 children benefited from the Free Rider Policy.

‎Meanwhile, passengers praised President Joseph Boakai and the NTA for reducing transportation costs and improving access to travel in the Southeast.
