MONROVIA, LIBERIA- Bomi County Senator Edwin Snowe has expressed strong support for President Joseph Boakai’s decision to authorize a comprehensive investigation into the Country’s recent drug seizure.

Senator Snowe commended the President for green-lighting a full inquiry into the allegations, describing the move as a critical step toward transparency and justice.

He, however, cautioned that the probe must not end with the burning of seized substances or the detention of low-level operatives.

In a statement, the Bomi County Senator then urged authorities to look beyond surface-level arrests and pursue the masterminds behind the country’s narcotics trade.

Senator Snowe believes these alleged drug activities did not emerge overnight.‎
