MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘C’ has placed a travel ban on all fifteen jurors in the controversial economic sabotage case.

 The jurors were recently jailed by the Court after an investigation established that they were tampered with during the trial of former Finance Minister Samuel Tweah and others.

They returned a non-guilty verdict for defendant Tweah on May 8, 2026, in the 6.2 million United States Dollars economic sabotage case before allegations emerged about jury-tempering.

The Court’s action was triggered by an application filed by the Ministry of Justice for a writ of Ne Exeat Republica seeking to stop the 15 jurors from leaving the Country.

Judge Osman Feika has since instructed all state security agencies at various entry points to arrest any of the jurors who attempt to leave the country without permission from the court as provided by law.

The accused jurors are Saah Bundoo, George Dennis, Maximum Dillon, Harriet Togba, Catherine Quawah, Joeviria Bai, Arnold Vincent, Mamu Anderson and Siah Tandapolie.

Others are Albertine Bai, Cynthia Tarplah, Lucy Menyongar, Sando Mulbah, Patricia Newehord and Jamesetta Higgins.
