Sen. Pennue Refutes Allegation of Receiving Pledge Money from Fmr. Pres. Weah…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Grand Gedeh County Senator, Zoe Pennue, has sharply refuted the allegation that he received twenty-five thousand United States dollars from former President George Weah.

The denial comes amid former Montserrado County District Eight Representative, Moses Gray’s claim that the former President fulfilled his pledge.

Our Correspondent said the Grand Gedeh County Lawmaker officially apologized to the church, on behalf of former President Weah, for the unfulfilled pledge.

The presumed pledge was made by former President Weah in February 2021, when he visited the Elim Chapel Assemblies of God Church in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, for its construction.

Meanwhile, the truth of the pledge’s unfulfillment or fulfilment is yet to be established, as the Elim Chapel Assemblies of God Church in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, has yet to comment on the matter.
