Gov. of Liberia, Partners Advance Large-Scale Renovation Project…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), is advancing a large-scale renovation project at the Bentol Youth Agriculture Center in Montserrado County.

The project aims to upgrade the center’s facilities to support youth engagement in agriculture activities, promote sustainable farming practices, and enhance food security.

As part of the initiative, the Youth and Sports Ministry is expected to renovate a hundred-bedroom dormitory.

The dormitory will host and train disadvantaged youths currently in Johnsonville township in various agricultural skills.

According to the ELBC Correspondent, the renovation project is expected to be completed before January 20, 2026.

Our Correspondent quotes authorities as saying the government plans to reopen the center, which has been closed since 2016.
