“Liberia’s image is being restored, respected among comity of nations”-Pres. Boakai

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai says Liberia’s image as a nation is being restored and respected among the comity of nations.

President Boakai said:” Liberia now enjoys renewed confidence from global and regional leaders, and this new era is predicated upon the extensive engagements and ongoing discussions the Government of Liberia continues to initiate with national and international partners.”

The Liberian Leader believes that these ongoing bilateral discussions are crucial to attracting direct foreign investments and impacting the lives of the ordinary people.

President Boakai cautioned citizens to remain patient as the Government continues to do all it can in developing Liberia for all.

President Boakai said:” It is about time that the Legislature begins to prioritize the interest of the people over self-greed and abstain from acts that tend to derail the progress made so far.”

He then urged the National Legislature to join forces with the other two branches of the Government in the planning and execution of programs pivotal to nation’s growth.

The Liberian Leader cautioned them to do away with divisive politics and embrace the culture of unity and love for country.

President Joseph Boakai spoke over the weekend during a thanksgiving service at his Rehab residence in Paynesville City.
