Nat’l AIDS Commission HIV Focal Person to Address Issues of Stigma and Discrimination…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National AIDS Commission HIV Focal Persons at various Government Ministries and Agencies have been urged to address the issues of stigma and discrimination at their workplaces.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Cecelia Nuta, said:” Our roles are crucial in achieving the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategic Plan One, which runs from 2021 to 2026.”

Madam Nuta said the Commission is counting on them to implement the HIV Workplace Policy and the Zero Discrimination Action Plan at their various entities.

Madam Cecelia Nuta spoke on Monday, September 2, 2024, in Monrovia, at a one-day acquaintance meeting with the National AIDS Commission HIV Focal Persons at various Government Ministries and Agencies.
