Info Minister Piah Clarifies…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Information Minister, Jerolinmek Piah, says the Liberian Government has not decided against bringing into the country earth-moving equipment, as is being speculated.

Minister Piah said:” The issue about the equipment was just a presentation made by the Minister of State without Portfolio and not an official decision of the Government.”

He assured that any political procurement of earth-moving equipment by the Government will be done consistent with the established legal frameworks.

Minister Piah clarified on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the regular MICAT Press Briefing in Monrovia.

Information Minister Jerolinmek Piah reiterated the Government of Liberia’s commitment to making roads accessible, across the country.
