Liberty Party Chairman Musa Bility Urges Nat’l Elections Commission, Partners…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chairman of the Liberty (LP) has urged the National Elections Commission (NEC), national and international partners to avoid doing business with embattled Political Leader, Senator Nyomblee Karnga-Lawrence.

In a communication dated April 16, 2023, a copy of which is in the possession of EL BC, Chairman Bility argued that Senator Karnga-Lawrence has since been expelled and her tenure expired in October 2022.

The LP Chairman said:” The recent Supreme Court’s ruling has declared the 2022 Special National Convention and National Executive Committee authority legitimate to manage the Party.”

According to Mr. Bility, all Party’s businesses must be conducted through the National Executive Committee, under his leadership.

Meanwhile, Senator Nyomblee Karnga-Lawrence has neither responded to the recent Supreme Court’s ruling nor Chairman Bility’s communication to NEC and other partners.
