US Embassy Renews Commitment to Closely Work with Radio Stations…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United State Embassy near Monrovia has renewed its commitment to closely work along with radio stations, through the Press Union of Liberia (PUL).

The US Embassy said radio continues to play a vital role the consolidation of peace and democracy for which it continues to support the work of radio stations.

In an ELBC interview in observance of World Radio Day on Monday, February 13, 2023, the Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy, Sean Boda, urged broadcast journalists to use radio to promote a fair and peaceful electoral process.

Mr. Boda stated that this year’s theme:” Radio and Peace” signifies the importance of radio during the October 10 Presidential and Legislative Elections.

According to the US Embassy Public Affairs Officer, the Embassy supported the official celebrations in Ganta, through Internews.
