MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has commenced the construction of a 20-kilometer road from Fish Town to Gbeapo Karwieken, in River Gee County.

The road pavement is being carried out by the Chinese Construction Company,  CHICO, and is expected to bring total relief to thousands of citizens of the County and entire Southern Region.

The road has been deplorable over the years, causing travelling difficulties for the people of River Gee County and surrounding places.

Upon the completion of the road, the company will then embark on the pavement of the Gbeapo Karwieken to Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County road, which is about 175 kilometers.
