Pres. Weah admonishes awardees…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Convener of the 2022 Golden Image Awards has admonished the awardees to continue to demonstrate excellence for the advancement of mankind and a better world.

President George Weah said:” The awards must serve as a stimulating catalyst for those recognized, in other to keep track of what they have been recognized.”

President Weah said he was excited to be a part of the program, as it happened at the time Liberians are celebrating the 175th Independence Day and 200 years existence of the Country.

The Liberian Leader was making special remarks at the Golden Image Awards held at the Monrovia City Hall Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Responding to his award from HAPA for his humanitarian work and peace, President Weah said the honor has instilled in him more vigor to continue his good work.

The President said:” I will continue as a beacon of hope for the thousands of young people who I inspire daily.”

Meanwhile, President Weah has rained praises on Culture Ambassador Juli Endee, for colorfully organizing this year’s Golden Image Awards, while also recommending that the next edition be held at a more spacious location.
