Pres. Weah dedicates Headquarters of Lib. Int’l Ship Corporate Registry

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has dedicated the new Headquarters of the Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry (LISCR) in Monrovia.

President Weah expressed the hope that the new headquarters facility will push the work of LISCR, on behalf of the Liberian Government.

He said:” Despite the many challenges faced by the company, it continues to contribute significantly to the growth of the Liberian registry.”

The Liberian Leader made the remark shortly after opening the new facility Friday, November 19, 2021, in Sinkor.

President Weah said the Liberian Registry, as the fastest growing registry in the world and second largest for the fleet of vessels to fly the Liberian flag, speaks to the works of LISCR.

The Liberian Leader used the occasion to urge the Company and the Liberian Maritime Authority (LMA) to remain steadfast in their pursuit of seeking more international attraction and increase revenue generation.
