African Group Advisory Board ends UN Food System Summit in Morocco

AGADIR, MOROCCO-The African Group on the Advisory Board of the 2021 United Nations Food System Summit has concluded an African Regional Dialogue to discuss issues affecting the Continent’s agriculture sector.

The gathering held in Agadir, Morocco, was co-organized by Liberia’s Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah and Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the UN Omar Hilale.

Speaking at the event in Morocco on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, Minister Kemayah said:” Through collaboration, the African Continent can address the issues of food insecurity and hunger.”

The dispatch quotes Liberia’s Foreign Minister as saying the dialogue is aimed at sharing paths towards eradicating hunger, building inclusive and healthier food systems and protecting the planet.
