Gbarpolu County Senator, Gbotoe Kanneh vows to support women participation in governance

GBARPOLU COUNTY-Gbarpolu County Senator, Gbotoe Kanneh has vowed to support women’s political participation at all levels of the country.

Madam Kanneh says women’s participation in politics is critical to the governance of the state.

According to the Gbarpolu Lawmaker, her recent election should serve as an encouragement to aspiring female politicians in the country.

Senator Kanneh wants women to unite in promoting the participation of female candidates in future elections.

Meanwhile, Senator Kanneh is calling on stakeholders in the forestry sector to provide more information on laws prohibiting bush meat sales.

She said the lack of adequate information on the law will undermine the true essence of the forestry sector.
