Gov. lifts curfew in Maryland County…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Justice, by directive of the President, has lifted the curfew in Maryland County with immediate effect.

The curfew was imposed on April 1, 2021, following days of violent protests across Pleebo and Harper Cities.

The demonstration was triggered by the death of a twenty-year old motorcyclist, Modecial Nyemah.

In a release issued on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the Justice Ministry thanked Marylanders for their cooperation with law enforcement agencies, during the duration of the curfew.
