Gov. adjusts Curfew in Maryland County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Justice has, by directive of President Weah, adjusted the curfew in Maryland County.

The dusk to dawn curfew imposed by President Weah on April 1, 2021, is now adjusted from 10pm to 6am.

A statement from the Justice Ministry issued on Thursday, April 15, 2021, said except for the adjusted hours, the curfew remains in full force.

The Liberian Leader imposed the curfew to help the Liberia National Police curb days of violent protests across the Country, triggered by the killing of motorcyclist Mordecial Nyemah in Pleebo City, Maryland County.

Meanwhile, citizens in the County are delightful over the adjustment made by Government and have begun jubilating.
