Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission, Press Union strengthen collaborative partnership…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) and the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) have renewed their collaborative relationship, in fighting corruption in the Country.

Speaking at a press conference marking the renewal in Monrovia on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, LACC Acting Chairman, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala said the partnership is part of ongoing rebranding efforts at the Commission.

Cllr. Gbala said:” The LACC is opened to the media for scrutiny and cooperation in promoting accountability and integrity.”

For his part, PUL President, Charles Coffey, said: “Rebuilding partnership with the LACC is very crucial to the viability of the institution given its turbulent past.”

He noted that the PUL is an integrity institution and is opened to partner with other integrity institutions in pushing for greater accountability in the governance of the Country.
