Pres. Weah calls former State Councilman Quiah a patriot…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has described the late former State Councilman, Oscar Jaryee Quiah, as a patriot, and one of the champions of multi-party democracy in Liberia.

President Weah was speaking Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the Foreign Ministry, when he led an array of Government officials in signing the book of Condolence in memory of the late former statesman.

Consoling the bereaved families, the Liberian Leader urged them to be strong and count on God Almighty for comfort during their difficult times.

The late Oscar Jaryee Quiah served the Liberian Government in many top positions, including Vice Chairman of the Liberia National Transitional Government (LNTG).
