Civil Service Agency, Finance Ministry conduct Post Harmonization Training…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Service Agency (CSA) and the Ministry of Finance are conducting post harmonization training on transitioning the Alternative Temporary Automated Payroll System (ATAPS) to the Civil Service Module (CSM).

The Executive Director of Liberia Macroeconomic Policy Analysis Center, Del-Francis Wreh, said:” All payroll-related activities will now be turned over to the CSA as required by law.”

According to him, the payroll over the years was previously managed by the CSA and the Ministry of Finance, thus formulating the Joint Payroll Management Team which gave rise to the harmonization process.

Mr. Wreh said:” The CSA will manage employment whilst the Ministry of Finance will handle the approval aspect, upholding the harmonization.”

In remarks, the Director General of the CSA, James Thompson, challenged the payroll analysts to make maximum use of the training, in order to enhance productivity.
