Weah-led Government to take public institutions out of rented homes

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah says his government will ensure that all public institutions have their own corporate headquarters, instead of spending money on rent.

President Weah said this will ensure that money to be spent on rent goes towards government’s development drive, especially towards improving hospitals and schools across the country.

According to him, the government will continue giving priority to infrastructure development projects to positively impact the Liberian people’s lives.

The Liberian Leader was speaking Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the dedication of the new Corporate Headquarters of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) in Monrovia.

President Weah also expressed satisfaction over ongoing rehabilitation of tanks at the LPRC Storage Terminal and urged the Management of the Company to ensure the early completion of the project.
