Deputy Speaker commits House of Rep. to open governance

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Cllr. Fonati Koffa, has committed the House to open governance for the benefit of the Country and its people.

In an ELBC interview Monday, January 18, 2021, Cllr. Koffa said:” The body will also ensure adequate coordination with the other branches of Government.”

According to him, the open governance process will promote a more robust scrutiny of bills along other legislations, before passage.

The House Deputy Speaker urged the public against wrong perception of the body as doing so undermines its prestige.

Meanwhile, the Grand Kru District Two Representative vowed to uphold the confidence reposed in him as Deputy Speaker.
