Former ANC’s Vice Standard Bearer Jeremiah Sulunteh, joins ruling CDC

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – the former vice Standard Bearer of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Ambassador Jeremiah Sulunteh has joined the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).

Ambassador Suluteh said his move to the CDC is in response to a clarion call to national-patriotic duty and not about satisfying personal interest.

The former ANC’s Vice Standard Bearer said he was joining the CDC at a time all is not milk and honey, to support the call by President George Weah for all Liberians to unite in the spirit of oneness to move the country forward.

The former Liberian Ambassador to the United States of America said Liberia under the CDC Government, like other countries around the world, is faced with multiple challenges but indicated that those challenges are not insurmountable.

For his part, the Chairman of the Coalition of Democratic Change, Mulbah Morlu has described Ambassador Suluteh’s moved to the CDC as a boost to the party.

Chairman Morlu welcoming Ambassador Sulunteh to the CDC over the weekend said he is a character worthy of trust having served as a minister with commitment and patriotism in three positions under former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

The CDC Chairman said though the former Ambassador did not set any precondition for joining the CDC, he can assure that the CDC will protect and always make you people smile again.

At the same time, Ambassador Sulunteh has pledged his support to the Senatorial bid of Senator Henry Yallah.

Ambassador Sulunteh said he and his many supporters will vigorously campaign during the Mid-Term Senatorial elections.
