Defense for Children Liberia strengthening rule of law in Grand Cape Mount County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA(Interm: Ebenezer Seigbeh Reports)- A two- day stakeholders meeting aimed at strengthening the rule of law is ongoing in Grand Cape Mount County.

The meeting, organized by the Defense for Children Liberia, seeks to strengthen justice and security for children in Liberia.

ELBC Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent, Mark Rogers said about twenty-seven stakeholders from diverse divisions of the justice system and the civil societies, are participating in the County.

The Participants include the Children Welfare Committee, Women and Children Protection officers, Magistrates, Judges and the County Gender Officer among others.

The objective of the gathering is to capacitate residents and key stakeholders within the justice system to alert State Security apparatus of action that threatens the security of children in Grand Cape Mount County.
