Amb.Dee-Maxwell Kemayah ends tenure as African Ambassadors Chairman to United Nations

MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Mulbah Kessellie)-Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, has ended his tenure as Chairman of the African Group of Ambassadors to the United Nations.

During the turning-over ceremony at the African Union Observer Mission in New York, Ambassador Kemayah, praised his colleagues for their support during his Chairmanship.

The Liberian envoy said during his Chairmanship, he defended and propagated the interest of the African Group.

Ambassador Kemayah disclosed that he conducted meetings on issues affecting Africa and responded to requests made by High Level African, Foreign and United Nations Officials for the benefit of the continent.

The Liberian Diplomat said he will ensure that the Group remains adequately informed, principally on matters emanating from the Main Committees of the United Nations General Assembly consistent with the established practices.
