Liberia – China sign Technical Agreement to improve SKD Sports Complex

MONROVIA, LIBERIA –Liberia and China have signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement to install additional facilities at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex (SKD) in Paynesville.

The agreement, signed between the two friendly governments, will include electronic and fire control equipment, and monitoring and sound systems, expected to be installed soon. Acting Foreign Minister, Henry Fahnbulleh, signed on behalf of the Liberian Government while Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, Fu Jinju, signed for his Government. Making remarks at the signing ceremony, Minister Fahnbulleh said: “The Government of Liberia is pleased with the Technical Cooperation Agreement with China also geared at implementing other meaningful projects”. In his remarks, Chinese Ambassador, Fu Jinju, said: “The project is part of the ongoing China-Aided Renovation Project for the SKD Sport Complex”.
