MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia and Canada are expected to explore new opportunities for cooperation in the Education Sector in an upcoming investment partnership meeting.
The partnership, according to Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Daniel Sando, is expected to bring together representatives of the Liberian Government, Canadian education institutions, development partners, and private-sector stakeholders.
Discussions will focus on key areas of Liberia’s Education Sector, including school infrastructure, technical and vocational education, teacher training, university partnerships, and innovative financing mechanisms.
The Deputy Minister said,” The roundtable is intended to identify practical opportunities for Canadian expertise, institutional collaboration, and investment to support Liberia’s education priorities”.
The meeting is expected to provide a platform for strengthening Liberia and Canada relations through education, focusing on partnerships and identifying potential investments that could contribute to improving educational access.
