MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has announced that it will carry out mass retirement of eligible civil servants beginning in December 2026.

The pronouncement was made recently by the Civil Service Agency (CSA).

Currently, the CSA and National Social Security and Welfare Corporation are conducting a nationwide Pre-Retirement Counseling and Data Collection Exercise.

The two government-implementing agencies concluded the first phase of the exercise in Maryland, Grand Bassa, and Rivercess Counties.

A CSA release said the exercise will be extended to other counties in the coming weeks.
