Nat’l Pre-Retirement Counseling, Data Collection Exercise Enters Week Two

MONROVIA, LIBERIA–The Civil Service Agency (CSA) and the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) have concluded the first week of the ongoing nationwide Pre-Retirement Counseling and Data Collection Exercise.

The exercise occurred in Maryland, Rivercess, and Grand Bassa Counties, and has entered Week 2, running from September 28 to October 3, 2026, across several locations.

The exercise started on Monday, September 21, 2026, covering eligible Government employees poised for retirement in December 2026.

According to a release, the exercise is taking place at several locations, including: Montserrado: MVTC & SKD Gymnasium-September 28–October 2. Margibi County, Kakata: NASSCORP Regional Office– September 28–October 2. Lofa: Zorzor – September 28; Voinjama – September 30–October 1; Kolahun – October 2; Foya – October 3. Bomi: Tubmanburg NASSCORP Regional Office – September 28–October 1. Grand Cape Mount: Robertsport – October 3 & 5; Grand Kru: Buah Central High School – September 28. River Gee: Fish Town – September 30–October 1; Karweaken – October 2–3.

The exercise will continue in additional locations the following week.

Meanwhile, all eligible employees are encouraged to take advantage of the scheduled dates in their respective areas.

The nationwide exercise is expected to conclude on October 16, 2026, with possible extension at some locations.

The release quotes the Civil Service Agency and the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation as encouraging the public to follow official announcements for updates on subsequent locations and schedules.
