Liberia Secures $ 250-million Japanese Yen for Infectious Disease Clinic Construction in Maryland County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has secured a grant of 250 million Japanese Yen for the construction of an infectious disease clinic in Maryland County.

The disclosure was made following a meeting held with TEC International Incorporated Project Manager, Keizo Inoue, at the Liberian Embassy in Japan.

A dispatch from Japan said the meeting centered on the grant for the construction of the prefabricated infectious disease clinic at the J.J. Dossen Hospital in Harper City.

The Health Ministry is the implementing agency, while TEC International Incorporated is the contractor,

The dispatch said the Project Manager, Inoue, will visit Liberia in reference to the project, which is expected to commence next year.
